A fifteen gram part that solves a very specific headache: you have a straight 1 1/8 fork and a headset built around a 1 1/2 lower bearing. This lets them get along.
Not a crown race and not a tool, despite the name. It is a plain aluminum sleeve with no seal lip that steps your steerer up to the bigger bearing.
- Adapts a 1 1/8" steerer to a 1 1/2" lower bearing cup
- CNC machined 7075-T6 aluminum, about 15g
- Stays on the bike, unlike the installation adaptor
