Product Details
The bar that made a lot of people stop arguing about flare. VentureMax puts a 24 degree flare and a bio-bend in the drops so your wrists sit neutral on chunky descents, and the tops stay comfortable on the long road slog to get there.
6061 double butted alloy, 31.8mm clamp, 42cm, roughly 102mm drop and 76mm reach. Original 2019 generation, not the current V2.
INTERNAL NOTE, remove before publishing: This is the ORIGINAL generation (MPN 30335317069), confirmed against Ritchey's own archived 2019 product page (76mm reach, 310g) versus the current bar (75mm reach, 320g). It is NOT the V2. Our existing "Ritchey Comp Venturemax Bar" SKUs RC2711 through RC2714 are all V2: RC2711/40cm/796941308861, RC2712/42cm/796941308878, RC2713/44cm/796941308885, RC2714/46cm/796941308892, confirmed from four dealer Shopify JSON feeds. So this is genuinely a separate product, NOT a duplicate of RC2712. Open item: price. The original generation has been purged from US retail and has no live list price anywhere. Entered at $49.95, deliberately under our own V2 shelf price of $59.95, at the Ritchey 0.70 cost ratio. That is judgment, not evidence. Also note RC2711-2714 currently hold junk barcodes and should be backfilled with the four UPCs above.
