The Rene Herse Steilacoom is a cyclocross tire that doubles as a mixed-surface all-rounder. Its dual-purpose knobby tread keeps the same amount of rubber under you whether you are rolling straight or leaning into a turn, so grip stays consistent in mud and snow and on fast paved descents. On pavement it rolls faster than most road tires.
