Rene Herse Bon Jon Pass TC Tire, 700C x 35, Endurance, Black
Product Details
The Bon Jon Pass is Rene Herse's Goldilocks tire: at 700C x 35mm, it fits bikes with a little extra clearance but not enough space for a 38mm tire. Named for a remote pass on the Olympic Peninsula, it is at home on smooth gravel and chip-sealed pavement alike.
The supple casing rolls smoothly over surface irregularities, and the tread pattern interlocks with the road surface for cornering grip, wet or dry. The tread is thick enough in the center to last thousands of miles, but thin and supple on the shoulders where it does not wear. The Endurance casing uses ultra-fine threads in a denser, stronger weave, with a protective belt under the sidewalls and tread for rough gravel and tough conditions.
