How to Ride a Bike in The City – Class

This is a hands-on course for novice cyclists to get you comfortable riding a bicycle safely and confidently through the city. We will practice riding and go through specifics that make riding in Seattle more fun, comfortable, and safe.
This class is for people who are already know how to ride a bike but aren’t fully comfortable doing it on city roads next to cars.
We’ll go over a wide range of topics such as:
– Navigating train & trolly tracks
– Starting and stopping on a hill
– Flat fixing and tube patch demonstration
– Fast Stops
– Dangerous situations and how to address them.
This class will also include a gift pack, some take away hot tips and a discount at the shop. With a cap on attendees at 15, You’ll have a ton of one on one time for questions and practice.
After the class you’ll have an opportunity to use your new road skills as we take an optional 30-minute group ride around Capitol Hill, ending at Good Weather Bicycle and Cafe.
The class is $75 if you register before April 20th. $85 after that.
